ABOUT US

The Blue Water Youth Football & Cheerleading is a non-profit organization that supports the Blue Water Area (Port Huron) division of the Northern Youth Football League (NYFL). NYFL is a youth sports program offering full pad full tackle football and cheerleading to boys and girls.


NEW!!! 

  Rookie Football Level. Players will be placed on teams based on the number of players availaible from week to week. Coaches will be provided and they will practice up to 4 times a week. Players will get optimal playing time to help them get comfortable with a contact sport. Playing Fields are smaller for more personal enviorment and controlled setting. This level is offered for players who need more development to the game of football. Games and practices are all at home and do not travel.

***Other levels offered will travel to other communities throughout the season***

Ages :5-6yrs old - Flag Football & Cheer ( Jr Freshman )

Age: 7 Yr Old - Rookie Football & Cheer

Ages:8-9yrs old - Full Pad Football & Cheer ( Freshman )

Age 10-11yrs old - Full Pad Tackle Football & Cheer ( Jr Varsity )

**NO 7th Graders allowed to play** 



  Blue Water's primary activities, as they relate to supporting NYFL, include registration of participants, sizing participants/ordering equipment and uniforms, creating a coaching pool that will instruct and train our youth for these purposes, improving and developing their capabilities acquiring team sponsors acquiring and setting up football field facilities, running concessions, fundraising, camps, clinics, collecting and purchasing equipment for teams.
